About the Collection
This is a collection of audio and video recordings of the Karbi language collected by Dr. Linda Konnerth from 2009-2012. These include both traditional and personal narratives from Karbi speakers, and descriptions of weaving practices, recipes, Karbi clans systems, and the status of women in Karbi society. Many of the records have corresponding transcriptions in ELAN.
