Bioterrorism: Legislation to Improve Public Health Preparedness and Response Capacity

Description: This report shows that while lawmakers work towards final passage of new authorizing legislation, Congress has appropriated more than $3 billion to the Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS) to increase bioterrorism preparedness at the federal, state, and local levels.
