Interest in desegregating schools throughout multi-district metropolitan
areas has increased as a result of litigation in the Federal courts concerning
cross-district integration of students in Detroit, Indianapolis, Louisville,
and W Wilmington metropolitan areas. Experience with school desegregation efforts
