About the Project
Filmed oral histories were conducted by the African American Museum of Dallas in 2011, and DVDs containing the video footage were later donated to UNT Special Collections. Staff at UNT Special Collections completed the transcription. The James O. Griffin, Zan Holmes, Peter Johnson, and Julia Jordan interviews are missing portions because UNT Special Collections did not receive the full interviews from the African American Museum.
