Scope

Agustin Lucas, born in Ohio and raised in his parents’ native country Spain, was an engineer and lifelong bullfighting enthusiast. Lucas was a member of several bullfighting related groups such as Los Aficionados de Los Angeles and the Orange Country Aficionados, the latter of which he would serve as president, as well as their parent organization the National Association of Taurine Clubs and the Taurine Bibliophiles of America. Lucas passed in 2011 in Los Angeles California.

About the Digital Collection

This collection contains periodicals from various publications related to bullfighting events and Taurine bibliography, VHS tapes and film reels of bullfighting events and related media, personal papers and notes of Agustin Lucas, documents related to Lucas’s bullfighting affiliation such as event tickets, newsletters, booklets, pamphlets, flags and postcards, photo albums of NATC conventions and events, slides, posters, artwork, awards, and sculptures.
