Students donate blood to Wadley
The annual Fall Blood Drive was
held on October 16 and 17, 1984 in
the University Union's Silver Eagle
Suite. The semester's goal was 1,000
units of blood, but only 920 units
were donated. However, there were
186 people who could not donate
because of health reasons. A person
wanting to donate blood must be in
good health, at least 18 years old,
and weigh at least 110 pounds.
As an incentive, several trophies
and kegs of beer were offered to the
organizations that turned out the
highest percentage of members to
donate. Kendall Hall, Delta Sigma
Phi, Alpha Xi Delta, Kappa Sigma,
and Phi Kappa Sigma won the com-
