: The Division of Recreation and Leisure Studies of-
fers a 36 credit hour degree program in two areas of
study: Leisure Services Management; and Leisure and
Leisure Service Management concentrates on fiscal
administration, policy studies, personnel administra-
tion and program and service delivery in both public
and private leisure service organizations.
Leisure and Special Populations focuses on the ap-
plication of recreation and leisure services to various
disabled groups, including mentally retarded, emo-
tionally disturbed, aged, orthopedically impaired,
deaf, blind, and other disability areas.
The Division of Physical education and Dance of-
fers a complete curriculum of teacher preparation. De-
grees include bachelor's, master's, and a minor in the
doctoral level in college teaching and higher educa-
tion. Several different certification programs are
available. At the bachelor's level they include basic
Provisional Elementary Certificate in physical educa-

ondary Certificate in dance, and All-Level Certificate
The Division of Secondary Education offers a com-
plete curriculum of teacher preparation. Degree pro-
grams include the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral
degrees. A Provisional Secondary Certificate for
grades seven through twelve is available with the
bachelor's degree and with the master's degree a Pro-
fessional Secondary Certificate is available.
