Leather association presents $2,400
to gay and lesbian community center
The National Leather Association - Dallas
presented a donation of $2,400 to the John D.
Thomas Gay and Lesbian Community Center at
the leather group's general monthly meeting on
Tuesday. The organization also presented a
$1,000 donation to Dallas Boys of Leather and a
$500 donation to the Dandelion Animal Rescue.
Texas governor candidate to address
Stonewall Democrats of Dallas
Bob Gammage, a candidate for Texas gover-
nor in the Democratic Party primary, will speak
to Stonewall Democrats of Dallas on Jan. 14 dur-
ing the group's endorsement meeting.
The meeting will be held at the John D.
Thomas Gay and Lesbian Community Center. It
will start at noon.
It will be the first time for a Texas governor's
