YOUNG COP

GAS 2 2 2
Cooper volunteered to have a little dab applied to his
face, and immediately went into a crying and coughing
jag. He agrees he is in no shape to attack a police"
man. Or Twiggy, for that matter.
Cooper received only a minor dose. Yaws was saving the
big one for police trainee J.E. Clifton, a 20 year old
ex-marine.
Clifton takes a liberal helping the ob" and within
seconds, he's doubled over and having trouble breath-
ing. The gas can also produce temporary blindness.
Officials say recovery usually is complete within 30
minutes. The only treatment needed is washing the
skin with clear water, and perhaps a light application
of calamine lotion. The police department will con..
duct more tests before the gas is put into service.
And if Clifton takes part, he wants to be the squirter,

GETS SPRAYED

not the W squir-TEE.
