"'Mean Green' is- rolling on the
roads of Viet Nam," writes Lt. Brent
L. Erickson (B.B.A. *68), who in late
March requested some 100 bumper
stickers to decorate the vehicles of
the 9th Motor Transport Battalion's
"T" Company.
Erickson requested the ^Mean
Green" stickers in a letter to the uni-
versity's Office of Alumni Affairs, and
Sigma Nu fraternity quickly came to
his aid.
The fraternity, which had the first
stickers printed, donated some 100 de-
cals which were immediately air
mailed to Lt. Erickson by Dr. Wayne
Adams^coordinator of alumni affairs.

wrotg: "My trucks are-preen* my tent
is preen; I have preen Utilities. Every-
thing: over here is preen except -the
dust ..."
"We have 'Mean Green' in Denton,"
he added, "Why not in South Viet
Nam?"
"Why not?" was also the reaction
at NTSU and now "T" Company's
vehicles are not only preen, they are
"Mean Green.".
