Two Fort Worth men are arraigned in federal
commissioner's court on charges of passing
counterfeit money in New Orleans and other cities.
The first one, 6-year old Gay* William Brown,
is already under 10-thousand dollars bond on the
New Orleans warrant and today Commissioner Van
Orden sets another 10-thousand bond on him for
the warrant from O'lahoma City charging him with
passing bogus bills.
MED GROUP AFTER MED OF VAN ORDEN
The second suspect, 35-year old Benford Eugene
Harris, enters no plea and Commissioner Van Orden
sets his bond at 10-thousand dollars on the New
Orleans warrant but this is reduced to 35-hundred
dollars on the.request of his lawyer and parents.
Harris makes bond but Brown is led away to jail
when he is unable to make bail. Agents say they
found phoney money on both men.when arrested.
