Two of Fort Worth's best known police
characters -- Garrett Ramsey and Bobby Lott--appear
in criminal district court to faces charges of
murdering Royce Leon Herd last June . The case
zEswz becomes a technical legal wrangle when attorneys
for both men ask for separate trials. Herd's body
was found near Kennedale, and Ramsey has admitted )p
apartment occupied by Ramsey and Lott
but Ramsey says he didn't do it. Judge McGregor
rules that if separate trials are granted, the

a legal technicality.
