Jerry is supermarket, at 10500 Harry Hines in Dallas, was
the victim of a well.4lanned holdup last night. Three
young bandits, all of them armed, escaped with most of
the store ts cash, before customers realized what was
happening. Noney was taken from four registers and a
Mrs. Lottie Epley, the store is manager, says one of the
bandits demanded all the money in the cashierts booth,
where she was on duty. Mrs. Epley says she handed the
bandit a bundle of five dollar bills, On but he said:
'That 1s not all; you're looking for trouble." She says
the bandit then entered the booth, and helped himself to
most of the money. Meanwhile, the other two bandits
were emptying registers manned by Mrs. Evelyn Bartlett
and Miss Kay Siith. Both women were also forced to
empty the unattended registers next to their own,
Mrs. Epley refuses to reveal how much money was taken,
