Mrs. Wall says Mar Heat is the most expensive dog in the
world, and that Kirkpatrick has turned down offers of
500 dollars for stud service, in order to keep the blood
line at the Kirkpatrick Kennels.
Mrs. Wall and Charlie Sullivan, an employee, stop by to
check on Rookie Sal, who became a mother last week.
Mrs. Wall says Rookie Sal should be proud of the
puppies future. Greyhound racing, says Mrs. Wall, is
one of the cleanest sports in the country. Mrs. Wall
reasons there is no way to *fix* a greyhound race.
