The long-awaited radar-speeding trial of Fort Worth
Councilman Jaee Roach is called in Corporation
Court in Fort Worth and Councilman Roach arrives in
court in a friendly and jovial mood greeting both
friend and foe alike._ Foe, in this case, being the
police.

CLOS UP GILMARTIN ON BENCH
Judge Gilmartin, the regualr corporation court judge,
disqualifies himself because of a long-standing feud
with Roach and because of Roach's association with
the city, he's replaced by Attorney Oliver Fannin Sr.
LONG GROUP AT TABLE WITH LITTLE CARS
The first witness is police officer Milton Ellis kho
issued Roach a ticket for speeding on November the
bth  in the 13-hundred block of Riverside Drive.
Ellis testifies the city radar equipment clocked
Roach's pink Cadillac going 41-miles an hour in a
30-miles an hour zone. Ellis says there were no
obstructions between the radar equipment and Roach's

car.
