A Fort Worth couple, I and Mrs Lonnie Cornish, of
31-13 Mount Vernon, played a big part in the capture.
Mrs. Cornish says she and her husband had into
the station to get gas. Mrs. Cornish suspected a
robbery was in progress, and her husband took down the
license number of the bandits' car. After the robbery,
police checked the number, and hurried to a frame
house in the 17 hundred block of Ash Crescent. A car,
fitting the description of the getaway car, was found
in the garage.
