SPACE SHOW 1-1-1
Market Hall in Dallas has been turned into a
Southwest
temporary air and missile base for the
Air, Space and Electronic Exposition which continues
through Sunday.
HERCULES SIGN
On display in the parking area is a group of
Nike Hercules missiles designed for use against bothair and surface targets.
Another Nike missile,
the Ajax, is set up in an action display.
LONG INSIDE
Inside the hall, information is available for
manufacturers and suppliers who are interested in
contracts with military and civilian agencies of
the U. S. government. The hundreds of displays
include a model of the nuclear submarine, the
Nautilus, with its Polaris missile and firing tubes.
CROWD SHOT
Drawing a good share of attention are exhibits of
the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
including a replica of Project Mer Cary' s Friendship7 space capsule.
