MURDER CHARGES FILED
Two charges of murder with malice were filed in Dallas
today against 40-year old Hartie E. "Tex" Webster in
connection with the Wednesday night shooting of ex-
convict Billy Joe Dabbs and his wife Doris outside a
South Lamar Street bar. The two victims were dead on
arrival at Parkland Hospital.STILL PROFILE SHOT
The 36-year old Dabbs had served time in the state

Counties. He was once married to Dallas stripper Candy

Homicide Captain Fritz says Webster told him he and
Dabbs got into an argument, and Webster knocked Dabbs
off a bar stool. He said Dabbs and his wife went out-
side for a while, and then Doris came back in and told
