Video footage from the WBAP-TV station in Fort Worth, Texas, to accompany a news story by reporter Robert Elliot about inconsistencies in confessions made by Henry Lee Lucas in relation to 210 unsolved murders. This story includes footage of Lucas in a Waco, Texas courthouse, a May 1984 interview wherein he discusses the murders, and an audio recorded interview with the Dallas Times Herald where he admits to only 3 murders and says the rest of his confessions were a hoax. The news story specifically discusses his confessing to the October 31, 1979 murder of a hitchhiker in Texas and a February 12, 1982 murder in Covington, Louisiana and presents evidence that he could not have been present for the murders including an interview with Jack Smart who worked with Lucas in California. This story aired at 6:00 P.M.
