Topologioal cross sections 6 ( a 1, 3, 5 and 7 )
of coherent diffractive dissociation of 400 Gsv/c protons on
nuclei of photoemulsion elements have boon neasured.'TpOlogi-
cal cress sections increase in the energy range from 20 to
400 GsT/c. This growth is the meet noticeable for maltipreng
topologies'.9he total cross section of diffractive coherent
production also increases from 8 to 25 ab/nusless in this
energy range. The increasing of the average multiplicity of
charged particles in reaction of coherent proton dissociation
is consistent with the logarbhuic law <n>coh=(0.25M.05)1nP.+
(13 0.25).

sections of the coherent proton diffractive dissociation

dependence are described.
Events of coherent particle generation on nuclei we ant
look for among the "clear" stars (i.e, without any v4aible
indications of eoitation or breakdown of the targeo-nucleus)
having the odd number of the relativistic particle tracks.
Thus, the coherent interactions must be selected from inelas-
tio events in which the most are the inelastic quamifree pro-
ton-nucleon interactions of primary proton with nuclei.this
stas have been recorded and measured in a systematical w47
on the effective length of 766 . of the scanned primary track
in nuclear photooaulsion exposed to 400 Gev/o prote beep at
FMII(ILAB accelerator ( Batavia, USA ).
