Description

The reservoir exploitation for Unit No.2 of the Hatchobaru Power Station accelerated the decline of power output of Unit No.1. For the purpose of understanding the mechanism of this output decline, review of existing data, additional well characteristics tests, well loggings and tracer tests were carried out. The results showed that several production wells for Unit No. 1 significantly reduced their productivity due to the inflow of reinjected waste water and due to pressure interference with production wells for Unit No. 2.

Description
