Fort Worth prepares for its second experiment with
main streets of the future. The project, once again, is
sponsored by the Downtown Fort Worth amnue association

A wishing well is among the many and varied exhibits
placed on the mall by the Tarrant County M Nurserymen
and Landscape association which is providing one hundred
oak trees, planter arrangements and shrubs for Futurama.
An entire block is taken up with an amusement area for
the youngsters. Sponsors say they hope to create an
entertaining and educational event for the public, and,
at the same time, Mgm encourage people to shop
downtown. Many cities are planning downtown malls, but
the only permanent one in existence is in Kalamazoo,Michigan.
