PREFACE
This annual report covers the period of 1 December 1984 through 31 December
1985 for the ablative pyrolysis of biomass in the SERI entrained-flow cyclonic
reactor program funded through Pacific Northwest Laboratories operated by
Battelle. Dr. Don Jay Stevens is the technical monitor for the program
(Contract No. DE-AC-02-83CH10093, Memorandum Purchase Order B-F0409-A-Q).
Mr. Simon Friedrich of the Department of Energy's Biomass Energy Technology
Division is the program sponsor.
