Description

  • Content Description: A correction to the TPC efficiency calculations based on discriminator response data is shown to have an average effect of 20% on the absolute magnitude of the earlier results. Consistency between runs with the NA36 magnet in different polarities is demonstrated. Comparisons are made with NA35 S + Ag data. The absolute flux of {Lambda} particles is approximately a factor of two in disagreement between the two experiments. A dependence of the rapidity spectrum for lambda`s on centrality is demonstrated.
