The Dallas Public School system tonight
releases the ninth of 12 studies it is making
on the problems of integrating schools under
the Supreme Court decision of three years ago.
Superintendent of Schools Doctor W.T. White,
tells Texas Newsman Tom McDonald>

last month called together 225 school officials
to answer a questionaire on the social aspects
of integration. The results of the1poll,
the board of education tonight,
indicate that almost half the school officials
are opposed to integration of races, that more
than 23 @ per cent favor integration but have
misgivings -- as the report puts it -- "as to
the immediate practicality of such a step."
