Description

Over the last several years, calculations have been performed to find the forces that are acting between modules and on the support saddles in the EB. This paper examines these forces and calculates the stresses in the connections between modules. In the Tile Calorimeter, the modules are only connected at three points. First, at the inner radius there is a bearing connection to support the force in the phi direction. Description
