In Fort Worth, a criminal district court jury
files in to hear the final day's testimony in
the murder trial of 50-year-old Hugh A.
Brown, accused of poisoning + death his wife
last January.WOMAN ON STAND
A surprise witness is Mrs. Edna
Oldham who says
Brown came to her last February and asked her
to testify at his trial. She says Brown wanted
her to say the dead woman had threatened to
commit suicide the day before she die, Mrs.
Oldham says she never talked to Mrs. Viola
Brown, had never heard her threaten to kill
herself and that she IW told Brown she
wouldn't have any part of his plan.JUDGE ON BENCH
The woman's testimony ends the week-long ttial
in Judge Dave Magee's court. Judge Magee
