12. Description of Change
This revision incorporates review comments which are chiefly editorial and serve to
clarify the document. Tornado missile descriptions (size) were edited to conform with
the metric conversions in the NRC Standard Review Plan. One significant change is the
correction of the 6-inch, schedule 40 pipe length from 0.91 meters (3 feet) to 4.58
meters (15 feet). Two letters; 1) from the Washington Public Power Supply System
(Supply System) to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requesting revision of
their tornado criteria and 2) the NRC reply and approval of the Supply System's
proposed criteria, were added as appendices.13a. Justification (mark one)
