Software & Copyright Submittal The tool used to analyze the progression of accidents in the DWPF is called an Accident Progression Event Tree (APET). The APET methodology groups analyzed progressions into a series of bins, based on similarities in their characteristics. DWPFASTXL is an Excel spreadsheet that can be used to calculate radiological source terms and consequences for these accident progression bins.
