This paper examines the impacts of research parks on innovation. The author believes that the stimulus and dynamics of putting the differing cultures of business and federal research interests side by side will lead to a surge of innovation and provide an environment where business opportunity and growth would occur. In order to help introduce new ideas the author contends the private sector researchers co-mingle with national laboratory researchers.
