This international directory of over 500 photovoltaic-related
manufacturers is intended to guide potential users of photovoltaics to sources
for systems and their components. In addition to alphabetized firm listings
(domestic and foreign), two indexes help the user to locate firms and
materials: the COUNTRY INDEX lists companies by 42 nations; the PRODUCT
INDEX groups firms by 20 major product categories, plus five areas of
photovoltaic manufacturing and services. For more technical information on
optimal system operation and maintenance, the reader is referred to
additional sources of information, including directories, guides, publications,
instruction, and international organizations specializing in photovoltaic
project assistance and education. A glossary describes equipment and
terminology commonly used in the photovoltaic industry.
