Description

Since 1978, the ENTECH technical team has been developing, field testing, refining, and commercializing photovoltaic concentrator systems based on a patented arched Fresnel lens optical concentrator, which provides maximum optical efficiency coupled with exceptional real-world error tolerance. First- through third-generation systems were deployed from the early 1980s to the early 1990s. In 1991, ENTECH was awarded a contract by Sandia National Laboratories to develop a fourth-generation concentrator module. In 1992, ENTECH was funded by NREL under the PVMaT Phase 2A procurement to develop and implement the manufacturing process for the new module. Description
