WHAT NEW INFORMATION SERVICES
DO YOU NEED?
Here is an opportunity for chemists and representatives
of government, industry, and universities to be
specific. What actual, new information services would
be of use to you, your company, your library, or your
industry? There is to be a symposium on this subject
at the St. Louis meeting of the ACS in the Spring of
1961 (March 21-30). Time is available on the program for
papers of not more than twenty minutes each; volunteer
contributions will be accepted in order received. Please
write to Charles L. Bernier, Editor of Chemical
Abstracts, 2041 N. College Road, The Ohio State University,
Columbus 10, Ohio, asking for a spot on the program.
In order to keep our feet on the ground, the full
title of the symposium will be "What New Information
Services are Needed and What are You Willing to Pay to
Have Them?" Time will be allowed for audience participation
in the symposium. This group effort can be
used as a guide to documentation research by the Chemical
