PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ANNOUNCES
REGION 30 (NEW YORK - ALBANY) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING
COMMITTEES TO HOLD 700 MHZ AND 800 MHZ MEETINGS

The Region 30 (New York-Albany)' Public Safety Regional Planning Committees (RPCs) will
hold two consecutive planning meetings on Thursday, April 7, 2011. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., the 700
MHz Public Safety RPC will convene at the Fulton County Emergency Operations Center, 2712 State
Highway 29, Johnstown, New York.
The agenda for the 700 MHz meeting includes:
* Review and approval of the April 7, 2011 Meeting Agenda
* Review and approval of the December 16, 2010 Meeting Report
* Old Business
o State Interoperability Executive Committee and Statewide Planning (Vinnie Stiles)
* Technical Subcommittee (Robert Isby)
o 4.9 GHz activities
o 700 MHz applications
o Region 30 700 MHz
o Region 8 700 MHz Windows I and 2 concurrence request
* New business and opportunity for comments
* Schedule next meeting
* Adjourn
Immediately following the 700 MHz Public Safety RPC meeting, the 800 MHz Public Safety
RPC will convene at the same location.
The agenda for the 800 MHz meeting includes:
* Review and approval of the April 7, 2011 Meeting Agenda
* Review and approval of the December 16, 2010 Meeting Report
* Technical Subcommittee update (Robert Isby)
o Region 19 800 MHz Regional Plan concurrence request
* Old business
o Regional Planning Update Committee (David Cook)
