Notes

Abstract: Research data is more available and sought after than ever, spanning disciplines and requiring storage, organization, description, navigation, and technology updating. How do librarians and archivists apply their unique knowledge to creating plans, policies, and services for data, generated locally or obtained remotely? What could we use from the models of curation and systems analysis? We will look at ownership and access, privacy, curation (ingestion, preservation, storage, etc.), IRB/NIH/NSF requirements, and data literacy. Share your reactions, experiences, and opinions.
