The third test was run on a lease in the Chase field, Rico
County. The purpose of this test was to detornmine the amount of
corrosion that might occur after a brine with a high hydrogen-
sulphide content was aerated. The test was carried on for 72
hours with a trap set at the flow tank and the other trap set at
a storage pond or the opposite side frcm the inccii:g brine.
Approximately 500 barrels of brine drained into the pond daily dur-
ing the test period. The pond measured 100 by 100 by 4 feet docp
with 3.5 feet of brine in storage. The results of the -tcs ,Lro
listed in table 11.
