Pillbox hat of black plastic tubing.
Physical Description
1 hat. Measurements, not including veiling: 18 cm. front to back; 19 cm. side to side; 9 cm. high at highest point.
Notes
The crown of coiled black plastic tubing has a center conical section with extending "tail" of black plastic tubing and sloping sides. Thin crescent-shaped openings relieve the solid appearance of the crown. The lower edge is slightly scalloped. Overlaid with black net veiling. The crown is lined in brown and black mesh. Two plastic combs are attached inside at the sides of the crown to secure hat to wearer's head. Designer's label inside crown: "Bes-Ben / Made in Chicago".
