Abstract: A practical method and apparatus for implanting elements, such as hydrogen, argon and krypton, and other compositions in a nanotube structure is disclosed. More specifically, such invention comprises, in one embodiment, an ion beam line apparatus used in conjunction with the requisite ancillary equipment necessary to accurately control the energy of an accelerated beam of hydrogen toward a nanostructural material.
