The six diisionsa boys d girs, for the three grades
studied,represent a situation in hicoh the highest average
in scientific thinking was made by the higher intelligence-
quotient group. This indicates high correlation between
scientific thinking and intelligence quotient. This is in
keeping with other atudies.
In determining the relating of intelligence quotient
to civic attitudes and scientific thinking, certain similar-
ities are found between the eighth, tenth, and twelfth grades.
In the majority of oases in both civi attitudes and
scientific think g, boys and girls, the greatest not glin
was mado by the lower intolligence-quotient group.
