by Joe Stevenson of
Beaumont and friends
(Creative Sound Pro-

than 12 years, Steven-
son wrote and
arranged the songs of
praise for this CD, his
first. A constable in
Jefferson County, he
worked nights and
weekends to produce
the gospel album. He
found his love of
music, poetry and
writing songs while
attending North Texas
during the late '70s and
early '80s. His football
teammates listened to
his singing before prac-
tice, during practice
