Description

Hat of brown felt. The domed crown is "sunken" within the sides of itself, creating a wall around it. The brown felt brim extends around sides and front only, and is turned up. From the top of the brim is attached a brown net veil. Hat has an inner brown grosgrain ribbon hatband, and an elasticized cord to help secure it to wearer's head. Retailer's label: "Ransohoffs / San Francisco" Label: "Mr. John"

Notes

This hat has a label of off-white grosgrain ribbon sewn into hat with reddish orange thread. On the label is written "Mr John". However, this label does not match any authenticated Mr. John label. It is believed to have been added after being sold through Ransohoff's.
