Description

Recording of Professor Kelly's interview with social anthropologist Esther Lucille Brown, discussing her work in medical anthropology with regards to addressing a lack of sufficient care for minority groups, particularly Spanish-speaking Americans, in the medical industry. Brown also shares some of the challenges she faced throughout her career and education as one of the only women in her field, as well as anecdotes regarding her connections to other relevant anthropologists, many of whom Professor Kelly has also interviewed.
