Daily Conference Call
Meeting Minutes of 7 March 2005
Dr. Sega chaired the meeting. The agenda is enclosed in attachment 1. The list of
attendees is enclosed in attachment 2. The primary objective for the meeting was to
review the status of the candidate recommendation packages. The agenda topics are
listed below in the order in which they were covered. The key points, decisions and
action items from the meeting are as follows:
Candidate Recommendation Package Status
Key Points:
* TECH-0018E, TECH-0018C, and TECH-0031 are still not complete.
* For TECH-00 18C, HS&A would like to use their own assumptions for personnel
reductions.
* TECH-0031 will be ready tomorrow, 8 March 2005.
* The Port Hueneme/Corona excursions will still be analyzed by the Weapons and
Armaments Subgroup.
* Dr. Short indicated that the ISG will be directing the TJCSG to run COBRA for
closing Indian Head, Lakehurst and Los Angeles. The submittal of these three
additional scenarios is due this Friday's (11 March 2005).
* The TJCSG has been directed to perform the COBRA runs for closure of Mesa and
Rome instead of the Air Force. The Innovative Systems Subgroup indicated they do
not have adequate data to do so as there is no data on the BOS and the lease
termination costs.
Decisions:
* The TJCSG decided to have the Weapons and Armaments Subgroup meet with the
HS&A JCSG to come to an agreement on the final reduction of personnel assumption
for TECH-0018C. Dr. Short will facilitate this discussion.
* The Subgroups were tasked to check on the availability of data to run COBRA for
closure of Indian Head, Lakehurst and Los Angeles. COBRA will not be run until the
TJCSG is officially tasked to do so.
* The Navy was tasked to determine whether PAX River has adequate excess capacity
to accept the workload from Lakehurst.
* The Innovative Systems Subgroup will work with the Air Force to receive the
necessary data to perform the COBRA runs for closure of Mesa and Rome.Draft Deliberative Document - For Discussion Purposes Only - Do Not Release Under FOIA
