The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are highly interdependent, requiring coordinated efforts that integrate diverse knowledge systems. SDG 17 emphasizes partnerships, underscoring the importance of cross-sector collaboration to advance sustainability. This workshop explores how knowledge managers and information professionals can create the infrastructure necessary to foster effective partnerships across sectors. Specifically, it examines the role of Information Action Briefs (IABs) as transformative tools that mobilize knowledge to promote community well-being, socio-economic sustainability, and the realization of SDGs. Despite the recognized value of knowledge management in achieving these global objectives, current approaches are fragmented, with a focus on individual goals. This paper argues that equitable knowledge partnerships, integrating local and Indigenous knowledge systems, are critical to addressing this gap. Furthermore, it highlights the potential for AI-driven knowledge management strategies to enhance these efforts. Integrating Knowledge for Development Agenda and Information Action Briefs, presents actionable strategies for creating a comprehensive knowledge ecosystem to support the attainment of the SDGs.
