Artist statement from MFA Exhibition: "In my practice, I craft vibrant works as windows to utopian realms, inviting viewers to transcend the everyday. By intertwining ordinary spaces and imagined realms, I capture the essence of an idealized location, offering a shift in our perspective of the environments around us. Figures and objects within these places undergo transformative journeys, fostering intimate dialogues within the captured space. Through sculptures, paintings, and drawings, the forms converge, blurring boundaries between familiar and unfamiliar.
