Description

Recording of Voice of America broadcast from Washington D.C featuring The Woody Herman Big Band performance from Saratoga Springs in New York. The second clip has Mr. Herman introducing stalwart saxophonists Frank Tiberi and Joe Lovano as up and coming youngsters on the scene. Throughout the performance he makes it a point to introduce members of his band to the crowd along with guest artist Chick Corea.
