Notes

Abstract: The Gadget Lending Project set out to enhance the equipment collection at the Willis Library Services Desk. The purpose of this project was changed since it was originally proposed. What started with focus on technological needs of students transitioned to accessibility and curriculum needs of students. Using the results of a student survey and communications with individuals identified to be knowledgeable about the needs of neurodiverse patrons and patrons with disabilities, project team members selected items to be added to the collection. Project funds were used to purchase the new items and the containers needed to facilitate circulation.
