Notes
Abstract: The purpose of the Aim for Accessibility grant is to create a collection of accessible guides for library patrons by covering best practices in LibGuides design and accessibility. This grant also provides a community of support (in Microsoft Teams) for guide owners and editors including training materials, videos, and discussions. Funds were requested to provide accessibility training opportunities for team members and a graduate student assistant to assist in creating materials that raise awareness of accessibility issues. This grant not only addresses the pressing accessible concerns across the university, but also as a way to promote accessible guide creation moving forward.
