Description

Report surveying literature on the mechanical properties of nonmetallic polycrystalline compounds and intermetallic compounds with melting points above 1500°C. Data collected on physical, mechanical, and thermal properties of the compounds is presented in summary tables and figures, with interpreted data separated into six appendices, each discussing a separate mechanical behavior of the materials.
