The objectives of this work are to (1) demonstrate on a bench-scale the Direct Sulfur Recovery Process (DSRP) for up to 99% or higher recovery of sulfur (as elemental sulfur) from SO{sub 2}-containing regeneration off-gases produced in integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) power generating systems employing hot-gas cleanup and (2) promote DSRP technology transfer to industry. Description

This paper will discuss the results of DSRP experiments with H{sub 2}S-containing gases.
